Introducing the Lacoste L!VE x Sanghon Kim football inspired capsule collection. For it’s spring/summer 2014 capsule collection, LACOSTE L!VE teams up with the french artist Sanghon Kim, as a director and illustrator.
On the occasion of a World Cup summer, Sanghon Kim directed a short animation film themed around football, in which players of the white team proudly sport a unique jersey, adorned with a reinterpreted crocodile crest.


In light of this summer’s global celebration of football, Hurley is encouraging national pride in and out of the water with the debut of the Phantom National Team boardshorts, supported by the “Fly The Flag” campaign.
The boardshort colors are aligned with the Brasil, France and U.S. national team kit jerseys, with a “home” and “away” variant for U.S. and Brasil. The kits are supplemented with coordinating tees and hats, allowing for soccer and surf fans alike to express national pride.


The Y-3 brand, a result from the collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas, released a mini collection inspired by football which is called “in football we trust” for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The collection is composed of t-shirts and leather jackets. 2 models of iconic Y-3 shoes have also been revisited for the occasion.

Football and Fashion; Strike A Pose

This Strike A Pose: 50 Years of Football & Fashion exhibition charts the journey football and fashion have taken together over the last half century. Features iconic on-and-off pitch outfits with era-defining adverts and photography from half a century of style and football revolution.

Strike A Pose is inspired by the book The Fashion of Football, From Best to Beckham, From Mod to Label Slave by Paolo Hewitt and Mark Baxter.

Design inspiration comes from Cristiano’s love for all things fast. The collection includes the new colorway of the CR Mercurial Vapor IX boot, performance training items and a variety of polos and tees. Each element is aesthetically inspired by velocity in sport.

The signature CR Mercurial Vapor IX boot has been reworked with this season’s version - a fusion of white, neon orange, with a neon yellow and orange safari print inspired by the safari print that was first seen on a Cristiano Ronaldo product in 2010 on the Mercurial Vapor Superfly II.
